Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you create an account:

Your name and email address.

How & Why We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the ClubUp app and its intended features, such as displaying your name within societies, tournaments, and leaderboards. We process your data on the lawful basis of contract performance, as it is necessary for the app to function as intended.

Your data is not shared with any third parties and is not used for marketing purposes. All data is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase within the European Union. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf.

Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be retained for up to 2 years to preserve historical society records, after which it will be anonymised.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: request that we correct any inaccurate data.
Erasure: request that we delete your personal data.
Restriction: request that we limit how we use your data.
Data portability: request your data in a portable format.
